to confirm check the Ohm draw on the temperature probe, i am not sure what is the correct one but you can check online at blodgett if probe okie then you will have an issue with the temp controller there possible the potentionmeter is worn out.....good luck

My healthrider s300i softstrider treadmill doesn't incline anymore do you know what i can do to fix this?

1)See if flexible cable from display board is bending to lower board.

2)main motor board is faulty by worn deck belt.

3) burn motor faulty.
4) adjust the Potentionmeter from the motor (incline).

5)Defective gear in inclination motor.

My pitch control goes slow when u push it up to - but goes even slower when u push it down to + is it nackered please help thank you Emmalene

You can try to recalibrate it by using the potentionmeter or 'pots' as they are sometimes called. There are two of them. One is on the main circuit board and one is on the pitch control. Either way you will have to take it apart to get to them.

Important*** When you have the platter off, do not hit the start/stop button!! This will ruin your motor.***

The easiest thing to do is order a new pitch control. They are relatively inexpensive and they are easy to replace.

Hi, i've got an astatic mobile max echo chamber but the echo and echo volume controls are very faulty. The echo volume is just a normal potentionmeter but the echo control is more like a balance control....

just replace with same ohms.....replace example--- 100k with 100k 5k with 5k etc......any old C.B. ....stereo...dont matter...what matters is the ohms

Yamaha RX-V800 volume control

i would say that the component that controls the sound level (called a potentionmeter) or (varible resistor) is either broken or faulty....you will need to remove the cover and inspect the area around the volume control just to make sure it is not broken or that any wiring has just become dry jointed....if all is good then what i would suggest to do is to find out the value of the pot...normally there around 10-50K then youll need to get a replacement...if this still dosen't fix it or your confident enough to look or fix it yourself i would take it to a local electronics repair shop....remeber to disconnect unit from power before removing cover hope this helps, ben

I have Audi A3 1.6 2001 model with automatic gearbox and it just doesnt want to change gears, from 2nd to 3rd it changes only at 70km/h and it doesn't change from 3rd to 4th at all. Any advise?

well i had thesame problem with my 1995 m A6. its the potentionmeter switch which sits on top of the engine and connects to the throttle assembly. if its not working then the gearbox wont change gears until very very late, easy to come off ..only 2 screws.
