Question about iLO CA3000V CD Player
I have a 2002 Beetle and a few months ago the cd player just stopped working. I tried taking out all of the cds, air dusting the magazine, and nothing. When I put the magazine back in, I get the message "no magazine" on my dash board.
Just had the same problem. It would say Track 63, and nothing would work. We have a 2001 Beetle, and on a road trip, it stopped working while we were driving and listening to CDs.
From another post, someone suggested removing the negative cable from the battery post. Tried this and it still did not help. However, I noticed that the cable would not tighten as I would expect. All cables are very clean, but I needed to push the cable further down before tightening. Ended up lightly tapping it down on the post with a small hammer, then tightening. Well, after that, all worked. Also noticed that the beep when locking the car was louder.
Hope this helps.
