GE Washer model GSLP1100DOWW - leaking on cycles

Have fished coins out of trap in rear - have removed rubber hose attached to trap to clear it of more coins and re-attached with the clamp - the machine appears to be leaking at front "driver-side" corner as well. Is it possible water is traveling along surface and than draining at convenient spot?

1.) Where to purchase replacement rubber hose for interior?
2) Any suggestions to determining front corner leak cause and repair.

Toronto location - beaches area.

All replies and comments received gratefully.

SOURCE: Water leaking from the bottom of the washer at the rear right corner!

firstly check that the inflow water pipes connected to the machine are connected correctly, feel around the pipes that touch the machine to see if there is any water. If there is the washers may need replacing on the pipe. Or the pipe may simply have got a bit loose through the machines spinning.

SOURCE: Intermittent water on floor

Check the inlet valve hoses, even if inlet is at the back, the water may drip down and flow on the front part on the machine. There you also have the PUMP, a faulty pump may leak intermittently.
Here you get all diagrams and parts for your appliance.

How do I clear the drain trap in my Frigidaire LTF2140ES3

The filter is located in the coin trap hose that connects from the tub to the pump assembly. Remove the screws attaching the front bottom panel then pull the panel down and off the cabinet. Loosen the clamps that secure the coin trap hose to the tub and the pump assembly then clean the filter. Reassemble in reverse order of the disassembly steps.

Make sure you disconnect power before accessing the filter. Extract as much water from the tub to prevent flooding your floor. Also lay a piece of towel under the hose when removing it to catch residual water.

Not draining what do i do

There is usually a clog somewhere is the hoses. The first thing to do is use a wet dry shop vac and attach it to the end of the drain hose to remove the water.Once the water is removed then remove the front panel of the washer take off the drain hoses from the drian pump and look for obstructions.make sure to remove the rubber boot that comes down from the bottom of the tub and clean out the little plastic coin trap.once the hoses are clear and there is nothing blocking the pump it should work normally, there is a chance that the door switch is faulty and or the control board is bad those are you last options

Ge front load washer do not drain

Disconnect power to machine. Remove bottom front panel by removing one screw from each lower corner of panel. Have a few old towels ready to catch water, and remove clamp at pump inlet. Fish out all the coins or other objects from the rubber boot pump inlet. Reassemble and test with the panel off first. If all OK and no leaks, replace panel.

The problem is a clogged coin trap. The coin trap is located below the front loading door near the right front side. To gain access is the problem. It is in a bad location and this will take a couple of hours to fix at a minimum. Tools needed, a phillips screwdriver, short handled perfered. A large set of channel locks. A set of flush cutters. Purchase a couple of hose clamps to replace the cheap factory ones. Unplug the machine. Disconnect the hot and cold water lines. Remove all water from inside the washer. Turn the washer on its side. Looking at the bottom you will see a black rubber device, with a grey hose (the drain)running into it, a white device hung onto it, and the top of the corrigated black rubber device is attached to the bottom of the drum. Disconnect all connections. This is not fun. Remove the black unit. Look down inside the unit and you will see a clear cylinder (usually filled with coins and lint) In short the clog which is not allowing the machine to pump out its water. Clean the unit and keep the coins for your trouble. Reinstall the black unit.(coin trap). Make sure the green clamps are properly seated or better yet replace them with the hose clamps. If you are unsure about the sizes take the coin trap to the local car parts store and purchase a couple. Make sure the rubber parts are replaced flushly or the repair will leak and you will get to fix it again, after swimming in a bit of soapy water when you sit the unit up again. Reconnect the hoses and power plug. Run a short cycle and check for leaks, by removing the back of the machine and checking for water leaks. Good luck!!!

I have a GE Profile Washer Model # WPX214A0CC. During the spin cycle, it just stopped and the water is still in the washer without spin drying the clothes. HELP!!

Hey cissy, sounds like your pump is plugged. Could be rubber backing from a cheap throw rug, other lint type item, or object like a coin or hair pin.
Remove power, take two screws out from the very bottom front edge of machine. remove access panel to gain access to pump. Remember, disconnecting hoses to pump will cause remaining water in tub to come out, be prepared. Remove obstruction from pump. Reassemble. Fixed!

My washer is leaking...

Open the rear panel on the washer. Check the 3 rubber hoses connected to the pump. Make sure there are no splits, or a **** in any of them. Also look at the pump and make sure the casing is not cracked and dripping (if coins enter the pump they can crack the casing, causing a leak). If there is a leak in a hose, replace that particular hose. If the pump casing is cracked, replace the pump.
