Re: Not cooling or freezing, all lights work in the unit
Do you hear a clicking noise approximately every 2 minutes from the compressor area?
If so, replace the start relay on the compressor.
If no, tap on the on/off thermostat and see if it cimes on.
If yes, replace the thermostat.

is the fan not working in it..may be jammed up..we had an old unit that did this all the time.. the door seal was bad allowing house humidity inside and it wpuld frost up so bad the fan got stuck..we eventually bought another used unit..
This unit has issues with the evap fan freezing up. If you heard a grinding noise coming from freezer, fan froze up. Unplug unit, open freezer door and if you have a box fan, point it into freezer for a couple hours. Be sure to unplug fridge
Are both fans running, in freezer and in back? Remove rear panel on back of unit. Check to see if noise is coming from compressor area. If it is you either have a bad start device or a bad compressor. Use your model number to look up and order a new start device here, the cheaper of the two. est. cost at $25-45
Sounds like the unit may be stuck in to defrost . The defrost clock is usually inside of the refrigerator compartment up by the thermostat controls. you can take a screw driver and advance the controller to make the compressor come back on . usually when they start to stick they neeed replacing. good luck and please don't forget to rate the answer please. Thanks for using FixYa.
As you've said that started it with freezing up, either the unit has a leak then the refrigerant escapes or restricted system. In this problem you need a qualified technician to repair the leak or reprocess the system and flush out the restricted system or repair kink pipe that cause restriction.
