When I push the on button & the menu button together, it just turns off. Is there any other way to re-boot this model?

It could be that your sd card is not in the right format i think it needs to be formatted as FAT put your sd card on your computer remove files to a safe place, refomat the SD card to FAT and then replace the files to the sd card and then give it a try.

Hi,
I had same trouble with my Lucca 3.4 and I resolved it.
1/ From "Lucca 3.4 GPS DVD" I copied all files from /Recovery  onto SD card

2/  With SD card inserted I started Lucca3.4 pushing 2 buttons (together)
Switch ON/OFF and MENU, and he will reimage rom (took about 8min)

3/ when GPS auto-reboot-ed I pushed YES on screen and he started to upload
soft,files (took about 20min)

4/ after this I reinstalled maps from Lucca3.4 GPS DVD

Now my Lucca 3.4 works fine again !

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Hello,

My name is mike. If you do not have a sd card you will need to get one.I would try blaupunkt direct, or possibly places that sell your unit. Also try Car toys, or Best Buy, Radio Shake. Might be able to help you, I am putting down a link below that tells everything you want to know about your unit but as you can see for you to update with out a sd card is pretty hard. Mike

I need usb kabel for travelpilot lucca mp3

The Travelpilot Lucca does not have the capability to be connected by USB cable. The connector socket on the bottom of the device is intended for a cradle built into a car that provides connectivity to compatible Blaupunkt car radios. It is a proprietary connector unsuited for PCs.
MP3 files are transported to the Lucca via SD cards only.

Ignore the above comment... SD cards and USB play fine on there (i have one).
Mine does the same, but leave it for 5-10 seconds after it says close and it loads it up!

I Download music to Mp3 and it says no file on it, but it will play the songs on Windows Media Player.

Try not running the Syn software at all. Try copying the files over manually.

After plugging in the USB cable you should get a small popup that says its connected.

Click on "My computer" and under "Devices with removable storage" you should see a new device called DV.

double click on that and you should see 3 folders. DCIM, EBOOK, and MP3

Copy your mp3 files from your computer into the mp3 folder of the camera and it should work.

SD Card not showing in my Tomtom go 720 to play MP3

If you want to play mp3 songs from sd card then create mp3 folder and place all the songs in side that folder. Now when you go to Juke box menu it will scan all the songs and you will be able to play them the way you want..

Player locks on SD insertion

Make sure the hold/lock is not engaged
Try another USB port
Reset the player

If that fails:
Download the newest version of the Philips Device Manager:
www.usasupport.philips.com - change your country/language as needed
Enter in your exact model #
Click on the link for your exact model #
Click on the Software & Drivers section
Click on "Firmware Upgrade Software"
Install the new Device Manager
Open and run the "Repair" tab

If still nothing:
Disconnect the Go Gear from computer. Press the reset pinhole until the player turns off. Hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. If this pop-up does not appear, reset the player again WHILE connected to the computer. Open the Philips Device Manager, and go to Repair Tab. Reset the player one more time while connected to computer. Follow the repair instructions.

After repair is complete, upgrade the firmware for this player. Will erase all the songs, but you should be good to go again.

If these methods fail, call Philips to see if you are still in-warranty.
