Question about Harman Kardon Remote Controls
Try re-loading the firmware again through safe mode. 1. Take out the batteries from the remote. 2. Turn on your computer and hold the off/on button and connect the USB cable to the computer and remote. 3. The remote display should say "Safe Mode Requested". 4. Start the HK software and login, then click on Support. 5. In the download section, click on firmware and then proceed to update the firmware again. 6. After you update the firmware, you will need to re-download your configuration again and update the remote.

This solution doesn't work for me. My TC30 worked fine until I got this brilliant idea to replace the battery; since then reset galore. Mostly when I touch a key but sometimes even when resting idle on the table... also when something bumps against the remote it will spontaneously reset. My educated guess is that something is wrong with the powerfeed, like when touching a key the remote needs more current from the battery and that's when it goes berserk. I also can't seem to charge both batteries anymore with the standard deskcharger, maybe a standalone charger will do the job?! This is HIGHLY annoying!
