I just received my refurbished 360 last week and everytime since then I can't play a single live match on COD 4 & 5 with out a server disconnect. My wifi laptop works fine and so does my desktop. Is it my signal form the wireless router? or is it COD servers? why did I go from a perfect live experience with the old 360 to horrible connection with the new one? any thoughts? I'm going crazy.

The problem seems to be a random disconnection from your home network. Try unplugging and replugging your wireless adapter or Ethernet cable. If the problem persists, try enabling and disabling these connections from your Console settings on the Xbox Live Dashboard.
This could just be the games server, a couple of weeks ago people were having the same problem with cod mw2, this just took a few hours for them to sort out, they are probably just doing maintenance, could he play another game, or read a book ; )
Let me know if this was the case with a thumbs up, or comment if you need further assistance.
its ur internet mate. wireless internet gets a lot of interferance so u will find a lot of the time this will happen. is worse still if u dont have good internet speed. u need average 5 mega bits, 8 is recommened though. it can also be that the person who is host of game and u cant connect well to eacher and so this happens. it can also be the game servers as well.(though this is very unlikely) dont worry u not only one who gets this problem.
Not really sure whats going, but from what i have read it seems like there is a connection interference. make sure no is on the computer when you play live. and make sure everything is connected right.
it means u where disconnected from teh router your xbox was connected to.. id try a thicker cat 5 cable(ethernet). it also means u could have a weak connection to the live servers, like alot of ur connection speed is being hoged by another computer. cuz my friend has a hp desktop that takes majority of his bandwidth and it really lags him down on live.. that usually means disconnected is all. or the host cancled the game, like backed out.
