The problem here is with you battery, the reason its doing this is the phone might be over or undercharged. To check if its overcharged place the battery on a plat surface and spin it, if it spins easily then its overcharged and you need to replace it. If the dosent spin at all its undercharged and you need to charge it.Hope this helps,Joe
this is also a simple solution! just get the usb cable and hook it up to your computer and then it starts to charge or if u have a ps3 you and take the controller charger but leave it plugged up to the ps3 and put the part where the controller goes into the spot for the original charger and that also charges it!
im having the same problem with my stankin phone and it is really irratating me because it doesnt full shut off and it freeze up and i barly talk on it i text no if verizon doesnt fix there phones im going to cancle the service and i no they dont want that so fix it
Ok not turning on is kind of vauge. This is what I would recomend trying. First off pull the battery and put it back in it should automatically boot in about 5 seconds. If this does not work use the power button slider on the side of the phone. If that does not work use your stylus in the reset button found on the bottom of the phone on the left hand side this should restart the phone after you remove the stylus. If that dosent work you can do the master reset and try that. If that dosent work I would say that you are out of luck with your phone.
When the battery is totally depleted, you will need to use a charger that came with the phone. Sometimes it will take a few mintues (give it 10) for the battery/charging circuit to come on.
Sometimes you can charge from other sources than the charger that came with the phone. You generally will need enough charge on the battery to start the phone.
Example: If I have enough battery to where the boots and turns off, I can generally get it to charge from USB or my car adapter. You will need to get the phone to turn on and boot most of the way up before it will take a low current charge. If my phone is so dead it will not even turn on, I must plug it into the AC adapter. Sometimes even then the light does not turn on right away.
The problem is probably due to the number of amps provided by the charger. When the battery is totally dead, the charging circuit is drawing so many amps that it will prevent low amp chargers from being able to do the job. That's why these phones have such heavy duty AC adapters.
