I understand the freezer is freezing, in your Frigidaire refrigerator, but the refrigerator portion is not cool. I also see that the fan in the back is running and the motor is hot. Please try resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power, stop the alarm, and press the "Factory Default" button. This will reset your temperatures to 37F on the refrigerator side and 0F on the freezer side. Keep an eye on your refrigerator temperatures, to see if they go down. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.
get behind the fridge and see if the black compressor is running and warm not hot if it is thenu may have a fan gone out inside the back panels inside the unit take the panel off and see if the fans running if not make sure it has power if it does and not running then replace the fan and see if this cures the problem
Replace the fan. The strip has a freon line running behind it, and when it is hot, this tells us that you have a dirty condensor, bad condensor fan motor, bad evaporator fan motor, defrost problem, or a freon system problem. When you say your fan is barely moving, I am assuming this is your condensor fan motor, which sucks air through the hot freon lines in the condensor coils, and cools the freon off. If it is barely moving, it can't cool the freon. In some brands a slow moving condensor fan can be caused by a bad main control board. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists
This usually means that your condenser fan has stopped. That's the fan outisde (under or in back of) the fridge. It should be running whenever the compressor runs. Heavy accumulation of dust or anything that obstructs airflow could also cause it. But the most likely culprit is the fan.
hi thanks for the question you say the fridge is still running is the fan in the freezer running at the back is the compressor running if the compressor is not running and is very hot it could be a bad compressor is there a fan down by the compressor if there is a fan by the compressor is it going if not replace the fanthanks the appliance doc
Try pressing light blub switch whist doors are open as fan will only start when doorsclosed. If compreesor is running but not chilling it is either the compreesor has gone and wont be pumping or it has lost its refigerant. Hope this helps
don't know this model specifically, but have had loads of problems with these samsung fridge-freezers. the no water in drinks dispensor is probably due to the water bottle at the bottom of the fridge being frozen. this is endemic with samsung
the noise you hear is ice hitting fan. samsung use two systems for fan. the one i think you have is separate fans for fridge and freezer and a separate evaperator for fridge and freezer. take of the back plate of the fridge and you will find the fan mounted in it. disconnect the plug and socket connection. you will probably find ice build up round the fan blade. melt off with hot water.
the bar you had showing on the "8" is a fault code - the most common fault being the defrost termination sensor. unless you are experienced, this is not really a diy appliance
