Question about Saeco Classico Espresso Machine

No power outlet is ok, but machine won't turn on

Machine won't come on.  Outlet OK.  I took an ohm meter and traced the hot side of the circuit and right away, on the first leg from where the cord enters the case, the power wasn't getting to the main switch. There is some sort of fuse located in this line, covered by a heavier piece of insulation - its very small and says something like "microtemp" and then some numbers and letters.  I can hardly read it it's so tiny.  I jumped this fuse with some alligator clips and everything came on again, so I guess that's it.  I need to replace this, I think, for fear of catching the dang thing on fire.  I think my wife might have left it on for a whole day, which might have caused it to overheat.

Hi
There is a fuse on top of the boiler that is under a clamp. It is covered by heavy insulation that will slide out of the way. The fuse is a 192C thermal fuse. You should be able to get one from
Radio Shack. It should come with crimps, because you can't solder them in.

Why my saeco vienna plus coffee machine does not turn on

A little more info would be helpful. When you say" turn on" do you mean there is no power or do you mean the machine will not cycle when the brew button is pushed? Also, is the red light on if there is power? If there is no A.C. power that would mean the fusible link or
thermistor has opened. Do of course make sure there is power at the outlet, even experts get fooled by panel breakers being tripped ha!

My B40 Elite Brewer will not start. It had been running fine, then the blue light goes off and now it won't start again. Have changed outlets and still nothing.

Hi,

The problem is often that the machine develops a leak in the hose that is rightover the transformer...the water drips onto the transformer and kills that...then you have no power to run the machine.

Here is a tip that I wrote about this problem...

I turned my Keurig off when I went to work yesterday, and now the power won't go back on. It's not the outlet.
