Question about GE (PSS26MSRSS) Side by Side Refrigerator
The water shute seems to have a slow drip just above the ice maker. So it is eventually freezing and/or dripping down the back of the fridge into the fan. My guess is the water valve has a leak?
2 questions.... What could be causing the leak? And is it something easy enough we can do ourselves or should we have a technician do the repair?
Yes the water valve is not sealing correctly and if left untreated can cause issues with freezing up the pipe work and causing water to run down the back of the machine. the poor seal could be caused by grit or limescale getting trapped . it is very easy to change for someone who is diy minded.
