Question about Epson Stylus C20UX InkJet Printer
Some parts have to maintained or replaced in your printer contact your dealer
This is a standard error which indicates your waste ink pads in the base of the printer are full and need replacing.
I don't have anything specific for the C20UX but it is possible to reset the waste ink counter for that model using the SSC utility .
In terms of replacing, cleaning out or redirecting the waste ink flow your best bet is to get this:
Service Manual (C20 is same as C40 in many respects)
.. and either disassemble the printer to get at the pads [section 4.2.3 in that manual] (you'll need a washable work are and latex/rubber gloves) or to figure out how to redirect the waste ink flow from the cleaning pump into an external tank.
None of this is particularly easy so you may want to consider dumping it and getting a new printer..
Hope that helps.
