Question about HP OfficeJet 7310 All-In-One InkJet Printer
When the windows CD is in the CD rom, a the installation screen pops up. The current progress starts at about 32 KBps but that number always decreases. The overall progress checking systerm (1/4) always remains at 0%. The support area told me I needed to increase my memory to 512 and sent another installation CD. I have increased my memory however both CDs still produce the same results. Thanks for any help you can give.
Try doing the below.
1) Cancel the installation screen when it popsup.
2) Right click on the CD ROM and click on Open option
3) Copy the contents of the CD to your local hard disk.
4) Try to locate the Setup.exe file and run it.
5) This will run the setup from your local system and not from the CD drive which will help in reducing the usage of extra ram.
