Question about Kenmore 63942 Dryer
My gas dryer gets hot for the first five minutes and then just cold air. It doesn't dry our clothes.
More than likely its the coils on your ignitor, there are two of them with four wires connected to them replace both

Sounds like you need to replace the coils on the gas valve. Just make sure your venting is clear 1st. If it is, the coils are easy to replace. Remove the front panel and the coils are on the bottom right hand side. Two screws and the bracket for both comes off. One has two terminals and the other has three. Real easy once you get into the dryer.
