Webcam not work properly

I have intex IT-305WC webcam but, when i istall the software it can not pass the window logo test. how can i over come this problem becuse
cam not work properly.

MS certification is used to validate software, but it is NOT required. Run the setup again. When the cert window comes up, click 'continue' and the installation should complete properly.

This model has a Diagnostics utility which is a hardware diagnostic program placed in the utility partition on the hard drive. The diagnostic utility is also available on the Dell Resource CD.

Help with istalling web cam dell studio one


First, just want to know if the webcam you are trying to install is integrated (came with computer built-in) or external device (plug-in to USB port).

If it is external it has a separate software cd need to install for your webcam to be recognize by the computer.

If it is internal the software cd it comes with the system "dell resource cd" or it has a separate cd installer for the webcam alone.

if you had tried installing the software for the webcam was there any error? Please include in your reply.

I am having a INTEX IT 305WC webcamera of 2005 model. It runs well on windowsXP till a few days back.. I installed now windows 7. Now I cannot instal the web cam. Maybe the drivers are to be updated....


I found this, maybe it will help you.

Hey, Intex web cam (in my case IT - 305WC) can work on Windows 7 if you download camsplitter software. After installation select camsplitter as an option for setup video source. Now if any settings are required (for example doing video conferencing in skype) then select camsplitter as webcam instead of VIMICRO or Avermedia.
This has solved my problem and hopefully it will solve yours also. Download camsplitter at http://download.cnet.com/CamSplitter/3000-2348_4-10276275.ht­ml or other websites.

How will i install intex IT-305WC driver... it is again and again showing that plug-in the device but i have already plugged in?


try unplugging the device- re-installing the software & drivers, then plug the device in-(if it's USB!). if not, shut the computer down, plug the device in and re-boot! take the cd out first! if you get the new hardware wizard for MS, then tell it you have the cd- browse to the cd device letter-after re-inserting cd and go from there! if it tells you there's no info on the cd to install hardware, swear eloquently, then go back and let windows find the damned drivers for it! if they state that it's not windows approved, tell them to install it anyways!! i've been through this sh*t so many times that i tolerate ms os's, but have no great love for them!! apple has much more stable and reliable machines, but who can afford them?? then again, what is your sanity worth?? enough of the venting!

The Windows logo test compatibility doesn't mean that your device is not compatible with Windows. It means that windows just doesn't fully support and recommend it. But still, you can install the driver using the driver cd that comes with that hardware, and still you can use it without any problem in Windows.

Hi just ignore that and install it then go to the website windows update and update the driver thru them and if it doesn't show go to the webcam site and type of webcam you need an update for,
