JUST INSTALLED A KENWOOD DDX6019 WITH GPS FUNCTION / WHEN DRIVING THE TUNER SWAPS ERRATICALLY BETWEEN CALL(BLUETOOTH) AND TUNER WHENEVER i PRESS MY BREAK. REASON? SOLUTION? THANKS.

You might have your brown (mute) wire shorting out (grounding itself) near your brake pedal. Locate the brown wire from the rear and make sure that it completely taped making sure that it does not touch anything metal.

Press and hold B.BOOST button for at least one second. This gets you into the settings menu. Use the rotary control to go up and down until you reach the setting for AUX On/OFF and toggle to on. Now whenever you press the source button AUX should be one of the options displayed. The ipod plugs in using a 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo cable and the input is on the bottom right of the faceplate.   • During the code request mode, while pressing the DISP key, press and hold the Volume UP or DOWN key for 3 seconds until the "..." display disappears.
  • Enter the security code with the Kenwood remote.

Type 2

  • Press the "Auto" button and "Track up" on the face of radio at the same time until the four dash lines disappear.
  • Enter the security code with the Kenwood remote.

Type 3: Model# DPX-4020 and DPX-4030

  • Press and hold the 1 then the 6 preset keys until the display shows the letter C.
  • Enter the security code with the Kenwood remote.
Entering Letters with a Kenwood Remoteo enter a letter with a Kenwood remote, press a button once for the first letter, twice for the second letter, and three times for the third letter. Press the Track Up or Next Track key to send the letter. To send the letter A, press the 2 key once then press the Track Up key. To send the letter B, press the 2 key twice then press the Track up key.
Finally, when all of the letters are entered, press and hold the Track Up button for 3 seconds.

Need to use Aux function with Satellite Tuner installed.


Yes, you will need to consult your owners manual (if you don't have one try Kenwoods website). AUX functions are turned ON during initial setup (like when you set the time).

Enter the security code using your Kenwood remote. For the DDX6019
The key sequence to enter the security code KCAR is: on the side of the remote there is AUD, DVD,TV. now enter 55 in the AUD then go to DVD and enter 2 which is fast forward then go back to AUD. Do the same for the rest.

the double din kit was restricting it from opening properly, once i removed it from the kit it worked properly. i had to modify the kit for it to work properly!

Can not connect my palm treo to the Kenwood KCA-BT100


the pocket Pc phone dont have the same Os (Operation Systems)
as most phones and as such you lose features. I am having the same problem.
