Question about Nokia 5310 Cellular Phone
My cell phone fell a few times, but there were no serious damages, not in the outside anyway. Just recently, I saw this part of the screen that has black lines, my friend who recognized the damage, and also has the same unit as mine, said that it was a problem in the LCD and cannot be fixed anymore. She also has the same problem and has it worse than I do. I just wanted to check if this is true mainly because my cell was just bought few months ago and it is kinda annoying to see the damaged part especially because it is growing everyday. Please help me fix this.Thank You.
If your phone is new, use your warranty!
if you dont have any warranty,
solution number 2 :
Your display circuit is broken, even if the LCD-panel,
seems to be ok the display is damaged.
This is a very common problem in Nokia phones.
The only way to fix this is to change the display.
You need a T-6 Torx Skrewdriver to do the job.
You can find displays for fair price at :

It sounds like the LCD screen is going out. If you are still under warranty, try to get it replaced.
If not, you can buy a replacement 5310 LCD and replace it yourself.
A new 5310 display costs about 20 dollars from ebay. I wrote a detailed guide to help you put in the new Nokia 5310 LCD screen.
Check it out at the following link for the guide and links to buy the LCD
