Re: Water is not running through
Replace your water sensor. If it runs out of water you can pop the water sensor and it will not allow any water to pass through due to the fact that it sends power to the water inlet valve and that is how you get water to flow and not flow into your system

The following video shows a coffee maching that was limed up and not heating. This covers most brewers for the home and the principles of heating and running. I hope this helps. I use a volt/ohm meter and temp gauge to explain the working dynamics of the brewer. Good luck!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNVZkYPaZko
We had the same problem and were ready to return the device when we were able to fix it. Here is what we did: 1. Fill the water tank all of the way and place in machine 2. Let the tank sit in position for a few hours (we let ours sit for 3) 3. Run the descaling option 4. Run a few cycles of the "longo" 5. If the machine is still not working repeat the process (Ours started to run after the 2nd cycle)
It just appears that the pumps are shipping with air in them and needs patience to get it out. Once you get it going though you won't regret it :)
I have run my machine out of water a few times and it just takes a while to prime. I turned it off and came back a little later. I turned it on and opened the steam valve until water came through. I did not push the steam button though. Once the water came through the steam valve, it started to come through the brew spot. I'm sure it's not good to run it out so I've been paying close attention to that...but just let it run out again. Nice. =/
DeLonghi EC155 Espresso Machine so what does it do?Possible nothing, and do you know your last time you ran vingar though it to CLean it out?Normally solution is Vingar depend on size put 1-cup Vingar, half cup water, run it though.then run only water then next step in full pot,do this twice.Should work fine.
Most of the time the coffee maker just needs cleaning with some Vingar sulution run though it.Do this about every 6 mouths.what happens specially with hard water it cluggs line up.So go to store buy small or big bottle of Vingar put about 1 cup in and half cup water aloud it to go though cycle's.Then or you may put two cups of vingar and two cups of water depend on how clugg it is.Then after done fill water despenser up to run Full pot like 12 cups, but donot over fill.that cleans it from the Vingar taste. You may want to do this twice.Hope this help, thanks for your question it was a good one.
I always use CLR to clean my coffee maker. You don't need much more than 1/4 cup and mix with 8 cups of water and brew it like you would make a pot of coffee, then dump it out and run 2-3 more pots of just water, that should work fine. Also, run vinegar thru the machine once in awhile to help keep it clean
