I have a MediaCom Karaoke Multi DVD Player MCI-3000Pro, bought

By my Auntie @ K.S.A Last July2008, when she went back home (Jolo, Sulu, Philippines) 4 a vacation! Together w/its supplied DVD midi discs, we used d Player 4 karaoke singing every weekends & on special occasions, to increase -family bonding! Then on Jan02,2009- we went 2 Zamboanga City, 4 a Medical Check Up, and when we returned back home (Joo,Sulu, Philippines)- 0n Jan20, & Started playing d supplied DVD Karaoke Discs,The screen of d player displayed a ''NO DISC'' signal! I became so worried, that I tested my other CDs & DVDs - both audio & video - but unfortunately, w/the same displayed message- ''NO DISC'' ! What's wrong w/my player? I just have not used it for 18 days, & became like this! Any Help, for a REPAIR SERVICE in our country, Philippines, is highly appreciated ! Thanks & More Power!

    I have experienced the same problem with my mediacom mci3000pro. a few months after i bought it i experienced occasional "no disc" error.. we barely used it once or twice a month during weekend..last time we used for less than 1 hour was last saturday. When we were about to use it, the no disc error kept on appearing. The player can't anymore play any disc.. So sad the warranty has just lapsed last February 24, 2009.. I was advised to bring it to the service center but it was quite far...Does this mean it is only good for one year since I heard of the same problem with other mediacom dvd karaoke player owners? Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!

    I got my MCI-3000pro from Dubai... my sister bought it for me as a
    present and sent it to me here in Canada... I was so happy and excited
    and was using it for three months. Unfortunately, after I went for a
    two weeks vacation there is a message appear SECURE ERROR on the screen
    on my TV when I am using Karaoke and sometimes when it plays, there has
    no audio coming out on the system... I had tried using DVD disc and it
    is working fine. Audio and video is working well except if I put my
    karaoke disc. I conclude that it might the disc that is having problem.
    I asked my sister to purchase another karaoke disc from Dubai and ship
    it in which I had already received. But, It has the same problem as the
    first Disc (SECURE ERROR).

    I am just so desperate and irritated the fact that i have been using
    Mediacom for a long time since I was in Dubai and even dying to have
    one back here in Canada in spite of all those other products... I tried
    to seek help from the management in which the address from the internet
    and been calling the office in Dubai on how can I get rid of that
    message (SECURE ERROR). But nobody is taking time to acknowledge such
    matter. Which is so dis appointing.

My mom sent me a mediacom karaoke from Saudi to New Zealand.i was disappointed when we put it together and it just kept saying "No Disc". we had it checked out by an electrician here and he was able to point out the part that was damaged (probably from the handling). i asked my mom to check with mediacom in Jeddah if they can supply the damaged part, but they told her they dont have it (duh). i checked with Manila's mediacom and this nice lady answered my questions and had a good knowledge of what i was asking. i strongly suggest you contact her for your queries. her name is Vilma and you can reach her through this number :00639282299222. then you can just exchange details thru email and voila, you get what you need! happy singing everyone! ;)

My name is Kamlesh Singh. I am not happy with MediaCom people because they had cheated me in shipment. Guy careful if you buying from Dubai to USA. There is big custom chatge. They never mentioned. There customer service is just shit.
Anyway try DVD cleaner disk and change your audio / video wire. I was running this syatem through my DVD recorder so I can sing and record . I had same issue. So I replaced the wires and hook direct to TV and work.

    Kamlesh Singh. If you ordered the Karaoke and had it shipped to you in USA, you will definitely be taxed by the US Customs when it arrives to your location. Same thing also if you have it shipped to other countries that will require duties and taxes. Duties and Taxes will range from 5% - 20%, depending on the country.

Hi Sir, i know this is out of the topic but i just need help with our player. Hope you can help us. we bought an lg dv632 in quatar. we can use the player normally there. But when we went back to the Philippines and used it, the movie was black and white. Is there any settings i need to make?

Samsung HT-C330 how can i convert to multi region my home theather player because i bought it in europe now i'm using here in the philippines

Do the following to make you dvd player region free,
1. Remove disc from tray.
2. Switch off player and unplug from mains.
3. Wait 30 seconds, then reconnect mains.
4. Turn on player with remote. Wait for player to finish loading and display 'no disc'.
5. Press enter on remote. (There will be no on-screen response.)
6. Press 8, 4, 2, 6, 9 on the remote. (There will be no on-screen response.)
7. Press enter on the remote. Player will automatically shut off.
8. Turn player on. (NOT FROM REMOTE)
9. turn off. (NOT FROM REMOTE)
10. Turn player off then on again. (Maybe you can try 2 ways turn on and off and on again and just turning on)
11. Player is now region-free.
12. Enjoy.

Karaoke not working

Hi, got this info from philips customer service. Was desperately trying to get the karaoke function to work for 2 weeks! Plug in your microphone. Press "KARAOKE" button until you see "MIC OFF" text, and immediately press RIGHT button. It will now shows "MIC ON"! "ECHO", "KEY" options will now shows up when pressing "KARAOKE" button repeatedly. However, microphone sound will not be available on digital output, you'll have to use the audio RCA. Happy singing!

My Mediacom cannot read the supplied karaoke disc.

just wash ur dvd with luke warm water..wipe it with soft cloth..then it,ll work..

Select region code using [UP] / [DOWN] buttons.
