Question about Dell Latitude C610 Notebook
I've just reinstalled my dell latitude c610 with XP pro. I've found most of the drivers ok from the dell website apart from 1, which is the Ethernet controller. My only guess is this controls the wireless as i can not get it working. the on board LAN works fine.
Please can someone help!
There are separate cards for Lan and wireless. Consequently there are separate device drivers. Go into Device Manager and scroll down to your Network Adapter and click on the "+". Right click on the wireless card and choose update drivers.
You also have to setup your wireless connection thru Network Connections in the Control Panel. So first check that you have a wireleless driver then go into Control Panel, Network Connections and follow the wireless wizard. Good Luck, let me know if you have any questions.
