PT53wx53g. green & blue convergence don't respond

You may need to check the two small resistors on the front of the baord as well. They are the power connections to you Convergence IC's, I have seen these charred and open. Just check them with a DVM or an Ohm meter to see what value they read. If they are close to 2 Ohms they most likely will be OK. But the other blue resistors will need to be replaced if they do not measure around 2.2 Ohms.

Please rate both solutions, as we are here to help you with the most information that you can get.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue.

Coloring is off and there is a ghosting effect

Hello,

Part # BP95-00142E is the correct convergence amp board for a model # HCN4226W. Part # BP94-00155A is listed as a "CG Amp assembly board" also, but is not correct for a model # HCN4226W. They are both basically convergence amp boards. Here's a link to order the original Samsung covergence amp board for this model (HCN4226W) from a major parts distributor:

Okay thats the P51A chassis that should have a small PC board on the extreme right hand side with two large black ICs mounted onto a large aluminum heat sink. they should be stamped with STK392-040 on them. can you locate the board on the right? Does it have the two large heat sinks on the baord?
