I wish to inquire on where I can avail of any download for the hardware driver of the VGP-BPS2 rechargeable battery of my VGN-S28GP Sony Vaio laptop.
Please let me hear from you soon. I appreciate any help you can extend to me.
Thanks in advance.
I have never known a battery to have a driver. There are firmware updates available to the computer that can often help with battery issues. http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/select-system.pl?DIRECTOR=DRIVER this is for support on US only. If it is a japanese computer you must go to sony japan online for support. They should have firmware and drivers available there also. Hope this helps!!

go to sony web page, find support and download...find correct model number and drivers for keyboard, or something like functions for your notebook..... let's hope there will be also driver for 8.1 already
I went to the manufacturers web site to no avail there is no further information in their drivers section. This is an issue with some devices from an upgrade to Win 7 leaving folks rather stranded without proper drivers to work with their devices. I looked for a work around as well. I did find some questions and answers and some solutions Click Here and check them out. You can also call the manufacturer to see if they can assist you. Win 7 should have picked this up. If you have the disc for this device install it again. Or last ditch is to go to the windows update and select "Optional Updates" see if the update is listed there. Thanks for using FixYa! John
Listed is the Win 7 for your device compatibility fixes just type in your model for a possible work around there as well. Click Here
i would suggest reinstalling the drivers for it .. also, have you changed the batteries or battery in it -- if applicable.
have you synchronised the mosue (press the button on bottomn) to activate with : it will synchronise with the USB receiver you connected to the computer .
also go to this link below , if you need driver update, if available , download and install the driver
You can try reseting the mouse by: ( I am going to assume you already checked the batteries are OK)
1. Turn the mouse off.
2. Take out out battery.
3. With the battery out, turn it ON.
4. With the battery off, press the connect button.
5. Put the battery back on WHILE pressing the connect button.
If your bluethooth is able to detect the mouse but cannot connect, then it is most likely a problem with the HID registration.
1. Go to my computer and right click.
2. Go to properties
3. Under Hardware, click on devise manager.
4. Make sure you dont have an exclamation mark under HID devices, if you do simply update the driver and this hsould do the trick. You might get a Microsoft Warning, just ignore it.
Unfortunatly SONY do not supply a download for this accessory as apparently something in the driver pack is copyright.
Anyhow to get a driver you must contact Sony and ask for a copy of the original CD
