i suspect a logic break down with in the input section on the main board. please check to see if there are any lose input sockets that may be shorting the transfer of clear video. check all input sections for break points.

Its the main board problem as the capacitor on the board is faulty for sure .its on its last stage to be get blown off.so its quite advisable to get it replaced by checking out with meter the faulty one. to avoid the further damage do not use the tv till it get repaired otherwise it will also damage some more parts.

This is a qualified TV tech job to rectify problem in your plasma TV.
It can not be done by remote assistance over internet.

it seems that the picture tube a small paart of Tv that engaging to the image of the Display are damage.
In this case we do not have any solution to fix we can try to ask a technician if he have some spare parts for our TV.
but if he has noyhing it is advisable to buy a new unit or change it permanently.

also try testing the unit using a dvd player or a vcr.

let me know if those lines was not seen.

Looks like a bad Video Processor chip. Have you tried the Sansung Service centre?
