How would I find a instruction booklet for a Mr. Coffee Model ECMP10? I bought it for my daughter she didn't want it but she lost the user instruction booklet.

Go to Mr.coffee.com and key in the model# of your coffee pot and request a instruction booklet. Hope this helps.

My samsung air track 2000W makes a really loud noise after 5 seconds of vacuuming. Sounds like its overheating but Ive cleaned all the filters so don't know wat is wrong!

I have the same vacuum. I cleaned the blue filter under the cylinder. Took it outside and hit it for about 2 mins to get much of the dust out, then washed it and left it to dry as it said in the instruction booklet. A copy of the instruction booklet is here: http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/200903/20090304083344937/DJ68-00387A_EN_0.5.pdf

How to change upper filters?

Open the vac as though to change the cone and remove the plastic inner cone with the slotted screw at the bottom.. Underneath you will find a 5" disk , likely coated with fine dust.
That is the one which needs to be changed. Around that disc will be three more screws holding the upper housing onto the vac. These ones are accessible from inside, if changing the motor.
Below the handle of the vac there is a serial number ring and three screws in an offset triangle. If you remove these and the rubber cover for the toe switch, the vac housing will come off. This will reveal the `foam or cotton ``muffler``. You can replace it or wash and dry it if foam. It acts as a muffler more than a a filter....

I have a 10 gallon Shop.Vac 3.0 but I don't have the instruction booklet. Do I take off the pleated "paper" filter to vacuum up water? Do I use the vac with no filter for liquid?

Yes you should remove the filter for liquids. If the filter is not removed the internal float stop will not operate correctly. This will lead to the liquid being drawn up into the impeller and around the motor.
However I still like to have something in place because in most instances the liquid you vacuum up will not be without some solids. So I like to use a foam insert. Places like Home Depot carries a universal insert that works great.
Hope that helps.

Vacuum filter

We bought one a couple years ago too, no filters. Now, WalMart carries replacement filters for other vacuums that will fit. Go back to WalMart and pick up the Durabrand CF2006 - it's in an orange box, works like a champ, I think it was around $5. We bought a couple. Great vacuum.

Filter queen spitting more than sucking

Usually this means that you have a clog, either in the hose, wands, or by the brush roll in the power head.

Dyson DC07

This is an incomplete solution. Mine (DC 14 Animal) worked great and then it didn"t and then it did after checking to make sure that all the parts were on securely. I noticed that while the suction sort of seemed normal, it was not strong enough to pick op fine dust from window sills.

The elbow thing near the floor on the right side was not seated properly. I fixed that and it worked great for a while and then lost too much of suction again for no apparent reason. I took a look on the Dyson web sight and they have a trouble shooting guide. The first step is to inspect the main filter and clean it. If I do this again I'll go through the rest of the check process before I clean the filter with cold water as recommended to avoid waiting (12 hours?) for the filter to dry. Mine did not appear dirty and I was unable to rinse out scads of dirt.

I followed the instructions for clearing airways and checking seals... with the canister removed, all suction seems to be fabulous. I'll know in the morning if it really works again after the filter is dry and I can reassemble the thing.

Short version? Try the troubleshooting guide at Dyson.com. I'll try to add to this if it works like new again! All in all, it seems simpler to maintain and trouble shoot that any other vac I have owned.

Good luck,

Tim

Here is a picture of the dome taken apart, not too hard, take out the 3 screws on top, then the pic should show the rest.
