Question about LG VOYAGER VX10000 Cellular Phone
When I use the Mobile IM AIM service on the LG Voyager, I get the message Error 36 Default buddy list doesn't exists when I sign on one of my particular AOL screen names. I tried another AOL screen name I have and it works fine.
Remove all special characters from your buddy list (any where on it) to resolve this issue. The only thing on your buddy list should be letters and spaces, no ,./-_ or things of that sort. This is what verizon told me and as soon as i fixed this i was able to sign online.

Thanks, yeah i had a "Gamers/Other" buddy tab and changed it and now i can sign in fine, i had the EnV for years without that problem and got the Voyager like 6 months ago and just got mad enough now to research the problem. Works good now thank you!

The names of my buddy groups had special characters (/, -) and when I deleted them it worked. I'm so happy to have my Mobile IM back!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
