Question about InFocus LP 530 Multimedia Projector
I have an LP600, and the internal mirror is broken. It is a small 4-sided box that is made of mirrors, behind the color wheel. It was cutting off half of the image on the screen, so I took it apart and found that this little rectangular box had one side out of whack. Upon looking at it further, I found that the glue had just broken and not the mirror itself. Is there a way to fix this, or does someone know where I can get just this part? I didn't pay for the projector, it was free from my work, and I can have it. I just want to get the part or a way to fix it so that I don't have to pay an arm and leg for the repair. I don't have any images to show....
light tunnel broken, how to i open the projector
Well without seeing the damage I would have thought Superglue would be your answer and just re afix the mirror if it is indeed undamaged .
Otherwise as it has a working bulb ( usually worth more than the actual machine? ) Maybe a replacement unit off ebay can be obtained you would also have a spare for any other repairs . .... Regards Vortash
