in normal sms mode just dont add cc or anything just keep typing in numbers or names followed by a comma. if you are sending any sort of picture ti will automatically go to mms let me know if this works.
Your phone is infected with HatiHati.A malware. It is a worm-like application that spreads via MMC cards. Once the worm copies itself to a new device, it starts sending SMS messages on its own. Here's the DIY cure: Note: This will erase all data stored on your memory card and phone. Copy contacts from phone to SIM card. Make sure the battery is fully-charged before proceeding.
Format your memory card.
Navigate MENU > TOOLS > MEMORY.
On the memory card menu press OPTIONS.
Scroll to Format memory card.
Once the formatting is complete, remove the memory card.
On your phone dial *#7370#.
Press Yes then enter your phone lock code. Default code is 12345.
When the phone restarts, insert memory card the format it again.
take ur mem card out of the phone
phone will ask for the security crd
if u have changed the origenl code entr the new code
othrwise entr 1234
cell will restart after a while
ur set will be free of this sms snding virus
but be shore to save ur all contacts and mesages and all the imp things in the phone memory to a save plase as it will clean ur phone memory only but not the memory card
My friends i suggest you to format your memorary card here are the steps:
Make sure that you format the memory card first so that there is no trace of virus in the phone and remove any password from the memory card.
1. First of all make sure that your phone's battery is full and then switch off you mobile phone. 2. You'll need to hold three buttons together which are : The green button, left selection key and the no. 3 key 3. Keep on holding these three button and then press the power button to switch it on. 4. After this you'll get a screen which will say FORMATTING.... after that you can leave the keys.
Caution : This will completely format your phone memory and will reload the whole phone due to which you'll loose all your contacts or infact anything stored in the phone memory.
I hope this helps you....this step can be taken for any Nokia phone which has Symbian OS Series 60 Version 7 and above...you can say most of the phones which came after Nokia 6600
hey dude, if it is trying to send messages automatically, i m sure ur cell phone is infected by virus. To remove virus, install a antivirus application. If u want any application, contact me at my id (firstname.lastname@example.org). If putting antivirus cant repair it. I recommend u to format ur phone memory as well as memory card. Formatting it, brings ur phone to the condition like as just bought free of viruses. To format phone memory : 1) turn off the phone, 2) press n hold three buttons (green dial button+*+3) at once and turn on the phone. 3) Hold these buttons until formatting screen appears. After formatting it, u will be asked for restart. Similarly, for formatting memory card(MMC), 1) Go Menu->extras->memory. 2) In option, choose format memory card. 3) It will automatically be formatted.
Warning: But ur phone must have minimum of 75% charge. And dont forget to backup ur contacts & essential datas before formatting phone n MMC. =============================================== Send me a feedback and rate my solution too. The settings are all different, Internet, Wap etc... for MMS you need to call your service provider and ask them to send you the MMS settings, they are sent via a txt msg, when you receive them click Save or Install.
MMS doesn't work between all networks.
