Settings on ViewSonic PJ513D Ceiling Mounting

I have just bought a ViewSonic model PJ513D projector, mounted it on the ceiling using a professional mounting kit, but don't know what needs to be done to display the image correctly in the ceiling mounted mode, with the projector upside down, as I'm told all projectors are mounted upside down!
The ViewSonic Quick Start Guide is reasonably thorough, but can do with a lot of further inclusions.
Where can I download a comprehensive User Guide/Manual for this projector please.
Thanks.

The user's guide says for ceiling mounting,
"Set Front Ceiling in the System Setup: Basic > Projector Position menu after you turn the projector on."

The user's guide is on the CD included with the projector as a pdf file. You can also download the user's guide here:

Projector instalation on ceiling

Not sure what your problem is. If it's how to turn the image upside down for ceiling mounting open the main menu & go to settings & check for a setting that shows choices of "FRONT" "REAR" "CEILING" etc. & select "CEILING". Otherwise you'll need to clarify please.
Thanks & good luck,

I have a oracle protechnik hd-800 projector that doesnt have option in menu to image revolve. how can I ceiling mount. pls help rick

if the projector has places for mounting screws on the bottom of the case, it has an option for ceiling. go into settings for image. right now it may be set to front. select that and change to ceiling. if there are no places for mounting on the bottom case, it has no settings for ceiling mounting.

How do I mount the HC1600 projector

there are three screw holes on the bottom of the projector, 2 in the back by the feet and one in the front. they take a standard size, I think it is a 6x4....

I had a infocus projector mounted to the ceiling and took it down this weekend and put the hc1600 in using the same screw and same adjustable ceiling mount.

Benq 6110 - mounting projector onto ceiling

You need to navigate to the 'advance' menu and under the 'mirror' setting select 'ceiling front' or 'ceiling rear' depending on whether you are front or rear projecting. It should all be on page 29 of the manual.

Hope this helps

Ceiling mounting

I unscrewed the two rubber stands on the bottom and used those to screw it to the ceiling mount. Seems to work pretty well!
