Just stick the memory card into the slot in your computer. if there is not a slot for your memory card then you will need to get an adapter.

go to my computer and you should be able to find the drive in there. usually going to be F:/ or G:/ and then whatever the brand name is on the memory card.
now you should be able to drag and drop the pictures right on to the memory card.

Getting pictures off of GE M140 camera

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

My computer will not bring up the webcam so i can record videos. I go to control panel -> scanners and cameras -> then i double click on the Logitech quickcam Express and it says its a digital camera...

When you downloaded the logitech software you had the option to have a desktop icon for the webcam toolbar
If you did not take up this option you will have to create a toolbar shortcut from "All Programs"
Scan the programs to find Logitech and click on the folder to open it.
Look for "Logitech webcam software" with a webcam icon in front.
Right click > Send to > Desktop - create shortcut

Launch the toolbar and click on the "Quick Capture" menu ( 2 film frames picture with a head and shoulders on one frame)
Your snapshots and videos can be recorded from here

White lines on webcam picture

Since it works OK on one machine, it has to be the software or settings.
Launch the Logitech toolbar onto your desktop during the problem time of day.
Plug the webcam in and start it using the Quick Capture button ( 2 film frames picture )
With the cam running open the 'Settings' menu ( 2 gear wheel picture )
Return to default
Run down the menu down the left hand side checking Anti flicker - right light etc for improvements
If no improvement can be found - disconnect webcam - uninstall software - restart computer and download by going to the Logitech support website - identify your webcam - click on it and download software.

Please could you tell me in simple terms how to import my photos from my computer onto a sandisk for my digital photo frame

Very simple. Insert the memory card into the card reader of your computer. It will appear in My Computer as one more disk. Select all the files of pics that you want to see on your digital frame, press ctrl + C keys. Click open the memory card icon and paste the files there with ctrl + V.
But you must make sure that the files are in the same format as the frame is capable of handling, ie, .jpg or whatever. You can get this info from the frames user guide. Generally, .jpg and .gif are universally accepted. Besides these all brands have their own whims and fancies

Replacement parts - I lost the cable that connects the camera to the computer, I need a new one.

Forget the cable. Buy an inexpensive card reader to download your pictures to a folder you create on your desktop.

Normal 0 See section A. Skype in the info below to setup the Audio & Video.
Also send this to your family and friends so they have their computer setup properly.
Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.
A. Skype Setup:
After downloading and installing Skype (http://www.skype.com/intl/en-gb/download/skype/windows/beta/downloading/) set it up as follows:
  1. Go to Tools, then Options, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
  2. Then click on the Video Settings.
  3. The camera if Installed Properly will come up and show a video picture.
  4. Then, on the bottom of the page click on Save.
The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now be able to see and her to you.
B. Yahoo Setup:
After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger (http://www.soft32.com/download_30.html ) set it up as follows:
  1. Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
  2. Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
  3. Next Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
  4. Next go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on “Open the call setup assistant” and follow the instructions on the left window.
Hope this helps. Bud

My Screen freezes then goes blank

I had already done the things that your expert suggested. This morning I purchased a new web cam but the same problem occurred. I took my computer back to the shop where I had just had a new motherboard, graphics card, processor and RAM put into my computer. They managed to solve the problem as it was the problem with 'frame rates per second' that the graphics card was set at. It was on 60 but should be on 85fps. What he did was Rt Click on desktop, > properties, > settings, > advanced > monitor to change the settings. Now problem is solved.
