My nokia n96 wont turn on it vibrates then there is an white light around the middle button but the screen does nothing

Remove battery off and replace after 15 minutes, if there is no response then it is possible that the software needs to be reinstalled into the phone.
you will need assistance to load an error free software from Nokia care.

Turn off screen tap vibration

Now, on your iPhone you want to tap on the "Settings" icon. Hopefully you've been here before! What you need to tap on here that's a bit counterintuitive is "Sounds" even though we're talking about a vibration, not an audible feature. As you can see, there are "Vibrate" settings for both Silent and Ring mode, along with the many different ringtones that are included with the iPhone itself.
There's no "Save" needed: tap on the ON|OFF switch to set it as you'd desire, then simply leave the screen and go somewhere else. hope that help...

Sony ericson w880i

I had 1 like that. Basically take the back off & look where the battery connects to the circuit board. The contacts come loose from the circuit board or the plastic around them cracks. The phone is still fine but it's no longer able to charge. I have the found battery contacts for sale online for about £3 but they need to be soldered back on to the board for the phone to work but don't know anyone who can/will do this yet. you can sometimes hold it off a little longer by using a bit of cardboard or superglue to hold them in place though!

Help on phone

Take the phone apart and make sure that the little motor with the weight is plugged in and that none of the wires are loose on either the board or the motor itself.

Hope this helps,
Simon.

No vibrating

- Have you turned on the vibrator for incoming calls - If it is already turned on, u must take the phone to a repair shop. The vibrator might be defective or there must be a loose connection.

IPAQ turns itself on

Go to the ActiveSync options of your pocket pc and to go to Mobile Schedule and choose "Manually". I think it's set to sync automatically in a few minutes that's why it turns itself on.
