Question about Vostok Europe Automatic Red Square Brown Leather Limited Edition 2432/6109053 Watch for Men
This is an automatic watch and doesn't have a function to just control the date. I don't have a watch winder so each time I wear it, I have to wind it until the date catches up. I must have been putting to much pressure on the neck of the crown and it broke off. Can this be fixed and is it going to be expensive (more than the watch)? Thanks

Use a winder if you must but I recommend just winding and setting when you want to wear them as most winders I have seen are very cheap and unreliable. Expect up to 50 hours from most watches usually not less than 30, this is if the have recent< 5 years, overhaul.

SOURCE: it just wont wind
Wind it back and forth at least 15 times, then twist the watch very quickly back and forth a few times. That should restart the balance wheel moving. Twisting motion must be around the axis on which watch hands are fitted.

The crown holds in place by one little screw inside of the watch. It is a very easy fix - you just need too open the watch and tighten the screw.
Or even better solution - send it back for repair. All Vostok-Europe watches are covered by 24 months warranty.
