Something seems to be wrong with the rollers that pull the paper thru. probably one side pulls faster that the other or the other does not pull at all. I recomend you take the printer and get it repaired at the service.

Paper does not feed straight and does not print straight on paper

Do the following:

1.) Check the paper input tray, there is a slider on the left side only that must be slid to meet your paper, in order to get it to go through the printer in a straight fashion.
2.) At the rear of the printer there is a large access hatch. On the left side of the hatch there is a handle to open it. Pull the left handle, the hatch opens from the left and then needs to be taken out pulling leftwards as the right hand side has pins that hold it in place.
Check his area for obstructions. Now ensure that this hatch is properly seated. The right side pins need to be pushed into the two corresponding holes and then the left side is to be pushed into the rear of the printer, it should click into position securely.
3.) Allign the printer's ink head by using the software that came with the printer. Go to your control panel and double click the printer to access HP's options menu.
Do this last as it is possible that the ink head is fine and the only problem is that the paper is not being fed in straight.

Take care!

I am using Canon Pixma MP145. Paper gets jammed every time i want to print. Paper gets pulled in only from right side and it gets jammed, but printer does't show any error. I have to pull the paper...

When the paper does not feed straight, dirty or stickyrollers can cause it to jamb or crinkle, also failure to remove all traces ofpaper from a previous paper jamb will cause further paper jambs.
The rollers may be dirty or sticky and causes the paper tonot feed straight.
Try cleaning the rollers with methylated spirits.

Paper crinkling

Hi there ok Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

Dell M5200n Printer is crinkling Envelopes

If you have the option to print in Horizontal or Vertical feed, try the Horizontal option and be sure the feed guide slide is not too tight against the envelope.

Lexmark x1240 printer / scanner

I don't have a 1240 printer but we have had this problem. Usually we just align the paper and there is usually a movable piece that keeps the printer snug and aligned. Usually we move it right at the edge of the paper. This usually prevents the paper from crinkling. If this doesn't work I would guess that one of the rollers is not working. But my guess is more of the paper guide that you need to move so that the paper stays aligned when it goes in. Let me know if this helps.

MP390 paper jam at feeder

First thing that comes to mind is that SOMETHING you (or someone) fed in, had a paper clip, staple, crinkle or some other unnatural thickness on one side of the paper - and it's stuck inside the feed mechanism.

I had the same exact thing with the feeder on my shredder. You have to get right inside you printer to find the problem.

Watever it may have been probably got stuck in the paper path so EVERYTHING from that point on gets skewed as it gets sucked into the printer and jams.

Can you get "IN" to clear the path?
