Question about Miller Welding Tools
Wire feed rheostat spins around and around does not stop.
Could there be a problem with the rheostat that causes the wire feed not to work.
Can I test voltage at rheostat? If so, what would I be looking for at each of the 3 leads coming out of the switch.
Also fan does not come on when main switch is turned on. Is this normal?
Miller 210, Started to weld, but when i release the trigger the wire keeps running. I shut off the machine to stop the wire, but now when i turn it on the wire motor wont work.

If the knob spins all the way around (and especially of it didn't always do that), it's broken. This could mean that the nut that holds the rheostat in place has come loose, or it could be that the wiper inside the rheostat has broken off the shaft. To find the voltage measurements, correct schematics, etc, I'd need to know the serial number of your welder.
