Question about Intel Computers & Internet
Hello Good Morning my self pradip sisodiya i want to know that how ato break BIOS password with unplug Cmos Battery or jummper
Do this when PC is off.
The jumper is a 2 pin jumper and there are 3 points on the motherboard where it is connected. So one pin is empty. Say pins are numbered 1 - 2 - 3 and the jumper is on 2 - 3.
Now unplug the jumper and put it on 1 - 2 and wait for a minute. Then put the jumper back to 2 - 3 and start the computer and the password and any other settings should be removed and set to default.

Tips for a great answer:
The most common way that most of us know on how to reset or clear the BIOS password is to physically remove the power from the computer by disconnecting the power plug and then removing the cmos battery for 30 minutes from the motherboard. Another way is to reset the clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard itself. Both of the 2 methods mentioned works because most motherboards use a battery to sustain the BIOS/CMOS settings for the motherboards PROM chip. So by cutting off cmos the battery power, the BIOS/CMOS settings will be erased. Hope this helps
