Is there a light on the monitor when it is plugged in and switched on?

If no light:-
Ensure the power point is fine by plugging something else in you know works.
Try replacing the power lead to the monitor.
If there is a light:-
It could be the switch, which would require opening the monitor and checking with a multimeter.
Failing that it's probably the power circuit inside the monitor. Unfortunately I don't have one, so I can't give you much more information beyond that.

They will air dry in a matter of minutes.

If reseating the memory did not resolve the issue try swapping the location of the memory.

Check the memory module and memory slot contacts.
They are either copper tin or gold.
The colour will tell you which they are.

Mixing tin and gold can result in corrosion that prevents proper contact.

Simply click start right click on my computer select properties then select device manager scroll to Display Adapters and click on the small + you should see the model of your PCI Express graphic card there. If there is a problem with it, a yellow exclamation mark should appear besides it.

LCD, or liquid crystal display, monitors offer an amazing image and are ideal for use with a computer.
LG currently focuses on LCD televisions that can double as a monitor, but the company still supports its LCD monitor line.
While LG LCD monitors are normally reliable, there may be a need to reset the monitor to the factory default settings to correct an image or software problem.

Press the "Menu" button on the right side of the monitor. This will bring up the On Screen Display. If nothing happens when the "Menu" button is pressed, press and hold it for several seconds to unlock the On Screen Display.
Scroll through the menu options by using the up and down arrow buttons located just under the "Menu" button. Scroll down to the "Setup" icon, which looks like a big cog. Press the "Auto/Set" button to access the Setup menu.
Scroll, using the down arrow, to "Factory Reset." This setting is located at the bottom of the Setup menu.
Press the "Auto/Set" button to choose "Factory Reset" and then press the down arrow to reset the monitor.

If this does not fix the problem.

I have no video card

tools: PCI video card

Im gonna take a wild stab at this and ***/ume u wanna upgrade your video, and your computer doesn't have a card right?

your computer probably has a itergrated video card built into the motherboard. theirfore in order for you to upgrade your video you will have to buy a pci video card, be sure to ask the dealer if u need a pci express or just a standard pci card. you will prob have to take the computer with you.

1) Be sure to ground/touch yer had off on the computer case whenever your handling video cards:) this negates any static electricty you may have that could zap yer video card now we need to boot up your pc and disable your current video in your bios menue, you can do this by hitting (delete) key immedatly during boot sequence..

2) Now in the blue screen of you bios browse the menu's by using your (+) (-) keys and hit enter to select your choices, get comfortable looking around...if u change anything just hit escape and select exit out saving. just try not to change anything yet... go into intergrated parifials or pci config depending on yer ver of bios.

3) When you get to pci config hit (enter) and use the (+) and (-) browse the options till you see the option display and select it, hit escape and select save. your computer should now reboot but without any display, turn yer computer off by the power switch on the power supply or just remove the plug from wall if you cant find the switch

4) Remove the left sidewall from the computer and pick a pci slot to install your card, some cards have power leads that require additional hook ups, referr to the documentation/manual of your card

5) Put side wall back on, plug computer in/flip switch, hook up monitor to your new card and boot up voila!!!

hope this help's or if anything it was informative:))
