fuse blows with thermostat plug connected at condenser circuit board. Tried pulling the leads to the compressor contactor but fuse stills blows. Heat from the electric furnace works ok as long as the condenser thermostat plug is not connected.

Lra127ct113 air conditioner condenser will not work

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand the condenser in your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# LRA127CT113, is not working. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Sometimes there can be a miscommunication between the different boards inside your appliance. Restore power and listen for the condenser to come on. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-
WP

How do you install circuit board in atwood furnace 8525? do I need to disassemble most of the furnace to do this?

I am not familiar with the model number. I have worked on all types of equipment and have never seen a system that required major dis-assembly to replace a board. What does it look like from the outside? Up flow furnace, through the wall with a split condenser, horivontal residential? Tell me what you can and l"ll probably be able to tell you exactly where and how. Thanks for trying Fixya.

I have a Wall mounted Fujitsu Air Con unit (AOT9LSAC) and will only blow room temp air. The green timer light continualy flashes and the red led opperation indicator flashes 8 times. Can you advise me as...

I have exactly the same problem. Pulled apart the outside unit (condenser) and found lizards have crawled under the circuit boards and been cooked. The circuit boards look all burnt and I suspect this is where the damage is. I have removed the boards but not sure where to get replacements.

My unit stays on even after shutting it off or turning it down. I replaced the thermastat and the problem still acurres. HELP!

have you used the weed eater out by the condensing unit could be short in thermostat control wiring to outside unit or a stuck contactor in condenser control circuit try these first then if not there in furnace control circuit at board that jockeys between air and heat remove thermostat wires from board remember thier location bet it stops.

My compresor does not start

Does the condenser fan start? If not then check your circuit breakers or fuses. If the outside fan is running then check the capacitor. You can check it with a multimeter that has the capacitor check function. You can also look at it and see if it looks expanded. That's a good sign it is bad. Take it with you to get a new one. If it's good then your compressor may have an overload that needs to be reset or the compressor may be bad. Look at the circuit board in the outside unit to see if there are any flashing lights. There should be something printed on the board close to them to tell you what the different sequences of flashes mean. Let me know what you find.

Condenser board gives me 6 flashes says vc ch tripped

When you can your cover off your control panel look on panel for Troubleshooting lights. Sometimes the board itself has the codes. Low pressure or high pressue or maybe sensor failure. Different board diferent codes.

York central ac keeps blowing 3amp fuse on the circuit board when the compressor kicks in. thermostat changed with no help. what's next

sounds like you have short in the low voltge side of the electrical circuit. I would check the thermostat wires outside at the condenser. look for any bare or exposed wires from where the wire comes from the house to the condenser. the thermostat wire will be a brown wire that is run on the outside which sends a signal to the contactor to make the condenser work. common cause his rodents or happens when weed whacking around condenser. Hope this get you started.

Clicking from Condenser

I would have to say it's your fan going out, also if the units aren't fixed the the DD should come out and fix it for free since it wasn't done the first time. I would take a look at it but I don't know where in florida you are. I'm in highlands county. If your close enough I could come take a look. If there's clicking coming from your condenser then it's one of two things, the compressor or the fan. hopefully the fan. let me know.
