How can i download pics without the software disc because my cd drive is broken.

The easiest way to transfer the pictures onto your computer is to remove the memory card and plug it into a card reader (either built in or a USB card reader if you have one). If not, you can connect your camera to your computer by the USB cable.

Once you plug the camera or the card in, Windows will usually ask you if you want to import the images. You can do that or import them manually by opening up the SD card or camera in my computer and dragging the files to the folder you want to store them in.

Another option would be to get an external BluRay/DVD/CD drive and plug it into your USB for the disc. Depending on the features you need, they can be pretty inexpensive.

Please leave feedback if this was helpful. Thanks.

Have a canon sx210is and want to download pics to my mac. I lost the disc that came with the camera and never tried it on this new computer. How can I get the pics off without the software? I went to canon...

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use iPhoto or any other photo cataloging program.

I keep being asked for the product key. I dont have this because when I purchased my laptop office 2007 was already installed. Can you please help me on how I can obtain the product key. Thank you

most pre-installed software with computer from purchase were trial versions. If you purchased a full version it should have come with a disc installer with it since you purchase the licensed software or some sort of a card should be included with the product key of it. What you have in your computer might be just a trial version.

I lost my download software to transfer the

The software CD would not help you unless you have a very old OS. Your best option is to invest ($10 - $15, sometimes less) in a CF card reader with a USB connector. If you have Windows XP or newer, or any version of Mac OS X, your computer will see the card reader (and your card) as a separate drive, and you will be able to download the pictures right off the card.

Do I need the software to download the pictures to the computer?

Sometimes if you open "my computer" your camera will appear as "removable disc" and you can double-click on it. Or, you could just use a card reader and solve all your problems.

Says memory card full

Hello. If your memory card is full it's time to transfer some of your pictures to a computer or put them on a cd or dvd disc.if you have the cables to conect to a computer plug the camera into the computer and then turn the camera on. Depending on your operating system your computer may or may not see your camera. If it does you may see a window asking what you want to do , just read through and make your choice. If it doesn't right click the My Computer icon and see if it shows up there as a removable device if so try to open it,from there you can move pictures around to folders on the computer. If your computer doesn't find your camera at all you may need software from the camera company ,if you have a disc install it ,if you don't check the manufacturers web site for software. If the computer doesn,t work out most photo finishing stores can copy the pictures to a disc freeing up space on your card for more pictures.

Lost my software disc to my speakers

You dont need software for your speakers, you need software for your sound card. Should already be loaded on your computer unless someone added a sound card..Go to the card manufacture for the driver..

Computer can't see images but they look fine on the camera.

May be problem in card reader...
But i'm think than you should try to use another cable (who connect card reader with computer).
