Is their something stuck in the lcd or do i have to fix the blacklight and if i do have to fix the backlight, how?=(, can someone PLEASE HELP ME!!! i need help really bad.
Hi, it sounds like the backlight inverter is failing. you will need to remove the screen surround to acess it . make sure you remove all power and battery before atempting. its not too difficult a job to attempt. remove any rubber bumpers around the screen to reveal the screws holding the surround in place, remove the screws then you will need to clip out the surround taking care not to damage your screen. when the surround is off this should expose the backlight inverter a small circuit board about 10-15cm long there are wires attached either end its simply a case of removing the wires and replacing the inverter. putting back together is simply a reversal of the dismantling proceedure.
hope this helps
