Go to Asus.com site and download. Link is here: http://usa.asus.com/

Go to "download" section and search for your product via the drop down boxes. Once you find your product, you will be promted to select your current OS. You can then download the correct firmware from here.

Unzip the drivers and run the applicable .exe files as an administrator in Vista.

This should solve your issue;)

Troubleshooting, cant open my tv

Hi,
If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.
Check the cables, connectors and connections.
Take it to a repair shop.

Im connecting my hp laptop to my vizio. I'm getting video but, no volume. Im using a HDMI cable. What else am I missing.

When you use the HDMI connection you have to choose how the audio will be sent by the source (your PC) and how it will be received by the Receiver (your TV).
The audio can be selected to be sent in the digital format through the HDMI or being sent out through the analog audio out put port (Green miniphone jack on the PC), same thing on the receiving end.
Ypu need to go to the TV HDMI on screen set up to select what you want, same thing on your PC HDMI setup.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 1080I AND 1080P AND WHICH ONE IS BETTER?

1080i vs 1080p - Similarities and Differences Between 1080i and 1080p
How 1080i and 1080p Are Both The Same and Different
1080i and 1080p are both High Definition display formats for HDTVs. 1080i and 1080p signals actually contain the same information. Both 1080i and 1080p represent a 1920x1080 pixel resolution (1,920 pixels across the screen by 1,080 pixels down the screen). The difference between 1080i and 1080p is in the way the signal is sent from a source component or displayed on an HDTV screen. In 1080i each frame of video is sent or displayed in alternative fields. The fields in 1080i are composed of 540 rows of pixels or lines of pixels running from the top to the bottom of the screen, with the odd fields displayed first and the even fields displayed second. Together, both fields create a full frame, made up of all 1,080 pixel rows or lines, every 30th of a second.
In 1080p, each frame of video is sent or displayed progressively. This means that both the odd and even fields (all 1,080 pixel rows or pixel lines) that make up the full frame are displayed together. This results in a smoother looking image, with less motion artifacts and jagged edges.
Differences Within 1080p 1080p can also be displayed (Depending on the video processing used) as a 1080p/60 (Most common), 1080p/30, or in 1080p/24 formats. 1080p/60 is essentially the same frame repeated twice every 30th of a second. (Enhanced video frame rate.) 1080p/30 is the same frame displayed once every 30th of a second. (Standard live or recorded video frame rate.) 1080p/24 is the same frame displayed every 24th of a second (Standard motion picture film frame rate.)

Monitor Blacks Out Randomly

Well If the monitor is brand new and you just purchased I would take it back and get another one as it appears to be defective. Most stores will allow you to exchange a defective item without a problem as long as you have the receipt. Any attemot to make repairs yourself could void the warranty. If it is used it may still be under warranty...I would get the model/serial number and contact Asus to have repairs made. Most monitors have at least a one year warranty.

Light comes on, no power to montior...

After posting my problem in this thread, I sent my Acer back in its original packaging with a copy of my receipt to Acer Technical Service. It still had a year left on its warranty (out of the original three years), and so I figured they would repair it. Much to my delight, they actually did. It took almost 3 weeks, and there was no email notification during the repair period (even though I asked about the status of my monitor once), and just when I was giving up hope, a big box arrived on my front doorstep. The note inside said:

"Enclosed you will find your unit which was sent to us for service. It has been thoroughly tested and repaired.
Repair Comments: Performed repair on customer unit.
Description: Inverter Board AA668 24TBD292LF..."

So it looks like the problem was an inverter board, which they replaced. I plugged the monitor up to my laptop again and it's been working fine all day. It was a bit hard to get in touch with Acer about the problem at first, and during the repair, but in the end they followed through and repaired the product free of charge.
