My mp3 player seems to be stuck

This A.M. my daughter upgraded my Sansa mp3 player thinking it was a good thing and since then it has been one disfunction after another.First, it seened to delete 4 books I had loaded.....but didn't really, they just suddenly appeared when I was trying to load more. Then just now, it quit playing and told me to "sychronize to contiue your music subscription". It is on part 4 and the final part of the book. I can go back to parts 1 thru 3 and it plays....however will not go past that point. Oh please help me. Thank you

I think you don't need that disk. Every thing at http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/ , Sansa Clip or Sansa Clip+ you can find it.

Memory card in my sandisk mp3 player

The e200 series does not support SDHC cards with stock software. You're stuck using regular 2 gig microSD cards, OR upgrading to Rockbox software, which DOES support the SDHC cards. It's a software limitation, in other words, not a hardware limitation.

Charging

I was having the same problem. In fact, I had exchanged my sansa for a second one and my problem was that my windows media player was a 9 version and when I upgraded to an 11 version all the sudden my sansa player was charging for more than a min. and it seems to be working ok. I think that once I upgraded my media player the computer recogonized the USB and with the older version it did not recogonize it. I don't know why. I just got my new player today and it's still charging so I don't know what it will do once it's fully charged but at least I can get it to charge for more than a min. I will keep you posted.

SanDisk Sansa e260 4gb Restarts over and over

Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx

Stuck Screen

It seems as thought the player itself has actually frozen. I have the same player and it has never done this to me. If you havent allready try leaving it alone in a quiet place for a day or two until it runs out of battery. Then plug it in to your PC to charge and it should be okay. As this has happend to me with other players. If it isnt however, try to resolve the issue by somehow updating the firmware. Try googling "SanDisk Sansa e260 Firmware Upgrade" and see what you can find. If there is something which looks hopeful try it, but if it doesnt work, the perhaps the only option is to return or exchange the player at its place of purchase. P.S Check the USB modes.

Go ahead and do this, in case the DB is corrupted:
