Question about Pinnacle Dazzle DVD Recorder

1 Answer

At Step 4 of the installation, each time I hit "Start Recording," I get a pop-up message that says "Please enter a valid record time." But, it will not let me enter a time into the box.

Same problem. Doesn't allow me to input time. Stays at 0 and is 'greyed' out.

"dazzle capture device" is NOT offered as an option, only "pinnacle file capture" is offered, so this solution for this problem is totally useless!

It is becuase the dazzle capture device is not selected as your video source. Please try to go back to step number 1 select video source . Make sure that pinnacle file capture is not selected but the dazzle is selected then try it again.

Changing recording time?

Hi and welcome to Fixyah,

If you won't allowed to enter the valid time record you need to go back to step number select video source and then try to click pull down arrow and then select your dazzle device, go back to step number 4 and then click on small circle and put the valid time recording.

Remember that the maximum time to record using DVD blank disc is only 103 mins.

I click on start recording, but it isn't recording

Make sure that the video image will showing to the preview screen of the computer and make sure that the a/v cable is properly connected. Did you already install the driver for your device? Open your IDVDR then choose advance mode, click on next. On step number 1 choose or click on pull down arrow and look for dazzle dvc 100 device. Next on step number make sure that you choose where to save the video. Hard disk folder or DVD disc. If DVD disc choose your DVD writer. Jump to step number and then choose the right time for recording. That's it you may now check and try to start recording your video.
