Question about Sansui DTV2700 27" TV

Need codes for programing universal remote for a Sansui DTV2700

I had to buy a new remote for my Sansui DTV2700 because the one that came with up and died yesterday. Finally today I bought a universal remote. The codes won't automatically reload and I don't have the code to enter it manually. It really shouldn't be this hard to find an operators manual or to find the code on line. I'm begining to think I'm going to have to ditch the whole damn thing over a remote. I guess 10 bucks is cheaper than a new TV.

You could always go buy another just like the one you have and get the code sheet out of it and that way you will have a spare one

I am trying to get the aux outlets to work on the tv how do i do that?the universal remote i have is not putting the tv on that channel and i have the red white and yellow jacks installed in fron of the tv...

Try using the channel buttons on the front of the tv to go below channel 1. If this doesn't work you will need the original remote or you could try a different universal remote. You can use an RF modulator, available at walmart or radio shack, to feed the signal through the antenna jack on the back of the set.
I hope this will help you.

What if the universal remote I have, does not list "Sansui" as one of brands. Will I still be able to use that remote?

Try the codes for Orion as well as Sansui. You must get the codes from the maker of the universal remote.
I hope this helps.
