Hey,

the sim card slot maybe faulty, try another sim card and if the problem persists.. you may have a faulty phone.

Sorry.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks,
Ekse

Somebody gave me a samsung sph-m500 but it doesn't have a sim card slot,is there a chance i can use it to the Philippines?i'm in Canada right now and the owner said it's unlocked, thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, you can't use this phone in the Philippines. The phones without a SIM card slot use the CDMA network. This is only supported in the U.S. Canada using the Sprint, Verizon and U.S. Cellular towers. There are a few other providers, like Boost Mobile and Net10, that also use these towers. India also has some CDMA coverage.

In the Philippines, the cellular networks use the GSM protocol. You'd need to pick up an unlocked phone that would work with AT&T and T-Mobile networks to have that compatibility.

I wish that I had better news for you.

You can specify the Current network it locked now?? Then you can use the Unlock code to Open the Mobile From the Network lock,You can get the Free Unlocking Instructions from here Mobileunlockguide Samsung T109 Unlocking Instructions
Warning: Do not enter any wrong unlock unlock codes on your Samsung T109 mobile phones. If you enter over a certain amount of wrong unlock codes on your mobile phone, your phone may get hard locked and sometimes become unusable.

Method 1:

1 - Switch ON your Samsung T109 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2 - Samsung T109 will ask for "Password".
3 - Enter the Unlock Code.

OR (if the Samsung T109 shows "Insert Correct SIM Card")

Method 2:

1 - Switch ON your Samsung T109 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2 - Don't bother about what's being displayed on your Samsung T109.
3 - Compose : #0111*CODE#.

NOT ACCEPTED: We mean, to use a sim card from a network other than the network your Samsung T109 is locked to.
CODE: Its the unique Unlock Code for your Samsung T109.

If method 2 does not work, you can try method 2 again but this time without any SIM card on your Samsung T109.

How to unlock SGH-A137

Below is a process I got from a Cell phone unlock tool this is universal for samsung phones.

If you want to unlock your phone put a sim from another company then type *#9998*3323# it will reset your phone. Push exit and then push 7, it will reset again. Put your other sim in and it will say sim lock, type in 00000000 then it should be unlocked. Type in *0141# then the green call batton and it's unlocked to all networks. This code may not work on the older phones and some of the newer phones. If it doesn't work you will have to reset your phone without a sim in it by typing *#2767*2878# or *#9998*3855# (not tested)

Good luck, and let me know if this helps. Thank you for choosing Fixya!

Samsung SGH-E900 can be use in the philippines?just to put sim card and it can be use?

Yeah, it is possible to use it wherever you want. All you need is to unlock it.

Please follow these instructions very carefully.

1. Turn off your phone, put in a SIM of a provider that it is not
locked to, and turn it back on.

2. At the wrong card message, type *#9998*3323#.

i.e ( star/hash/9998/star/3323/hash )

A message will pop up telling you to press exit, Press exit.
Choose malloc fail.
Your phone will reboot and your SIM will work.

3. Type *0141# and then hit call.
This will give you a message saying your phone is personalized.

4. Power down your phone and insert a SIM card other than the one that is in it.

Power back up your phone.

5. At the SIM code prompt type 00000000, (that is 8 zeroes.)
Your phone should now be unlocked

Notes

In newer phones it is possible to use this alterative to above Simply type in keypad #*7337#) With no sim in phone
Can reset phone & unlock.
