Question about Kenmore 24 in. 17512 Built-in Dishwasher
This is probably due to a defective motor. The fan blade will actually become disconnected from the motor armature and will rattle around on the shaft.
It is easiest to replace the whole motor and pump assembly as a unit. They cost about $100.00 or maybe a little more.
It is not hard to replace if you have your machine pulled out from the wall and upside down or on its side.
It is only a few screws and plugs.
