Microphone does not seem to be working

Do i need some driver ? this is MV540 old and not attatched to a compac computer

The microphone connector is on the rear of the monitor, and you need to connect it to your computer's microphone input jack. The cable is the same kind you would use to connect the audio output jack to the input on a set of computer speakers. Once the microphone is plugged in it works just like any standard microphone. No special drivers are needed for the monitor, but you do need to be sure that the proper drivers for your computer's sound devices have been installed.

Hello, i have a problem with microphone. my pc type is compaq nc6320 and it have inside microphone in pc but its not working. if that microphone need driver i do not know which type of driver work for it....

you can find the drivers on the hp / compac web site, go to support and then to the model number, drivers. If you download the new drivers and the mic still does not work, you can goto a n inexpensive external mic and do the job.

Microphone does not work on compac

Make sure you have it plugged into the microphone jack. Then click Start/Accessories/Entertainment and look for the Sound Recorder and click on it. There you will be able to make a recording using the microphone and see the meter as sound is sent to the computer.

I have a polaroid t730 camera and have been able to upload photos to my hp laptop in the past. however, upon trying to upload photos now, my computer does no seem to recognize that the camera is attatched...

now my computer does no seem to recognize that the camera is attatched at all,

  • Do you mean to say it recognized the camera at one time in the past?
  • What happens when you attach the USB cable?
  • What operating system are you running on your computer?
  • Did you try to re-install the drivers?

Mic wont work of course

which operating system do you use? and check the sound driver from { if windows,right click my computer then click manage then device manager, see there is sound driver is installed or not.} if not then install sound driver.

Won't work with microphone

Make sure that you have the latest audio drivers from your motherboard manufacturer's website. That will usually fix the problem.

I have a Compac computer with Vista. My old

maybe that is a twin driver problm go to the start of your computer and find the twin settings and select the driver the name of your scaner din try to scan

or try to uninstall the printer driver by using ad and remove program
and install it again.. thank you..

CRT Monitor Stuck In Stand-By

So the monitor is not bad try to disable the video card from bios if possible and firstly remove all external devices (USB's) and gets the safemode meny and select vga mode and disablem the video drivers and uninstall and reinstall the drivers

Make sure you properly install all drivers, like your processor, chipset, graphics, sound, modem, and ethernet drivers from the manufacturer's web site
