Question about Canon Cameras
A while ago I bought a Canon Powershot A540, and it's worked fine, but then died. I returned it, and everything has been working well.
When using my original camera, I discovered somehow how to keep the ZoomBroswer from coming on.
I stopped taking pictures for a while for some reason, and there have been some changes made to my computer. I ended up having to reinstall the software for the camera.
Now I love the upload feature, but I NEVER use the stupid photo editing portion. I tried uninstalling zoombrowser and keeping the EOS Utility, hoping that would do it, but nothing, so I reinstalled the programs, and though the pictures are uploading just fine, as soon as they are finished uploading, zoombrowser pops up.
Can anyone tell me how I managed to turn the photo editor portion off while keeping the upload capability?
Start EOS Utility. Click Preferences. Click Linked Software. Select None.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
