I just took one of these apart and did not see anywhere that an audio cable would plug in to, nor did I see any audio components or speakers. Your monitor would normally have a mini-jack similar to the ones on your pc or laptop where you would plug an audio cable into it if it has speakers, but I don't see any such items on this one anywhere in/on/around it.

There are couple of questions to ask , are u trying to connect the speakers to the monitor for a tv connection or using it to connect to a computer system , if connecting to the computer system , the audio settings have to be changed to the current speakers you connect to the monitor , or there might be a up link cable u might have got when u bought the monitor using which the sound will come out .
I did the same trix.
But I came out of it.
Hooked the monitor to the PC (necessary).
