How to eject an HDCAM tape stuck in as BVW75 Beta deck.

I don't know what this error code means but I have managed to remove tapes which stuck in a VCR and cannot be ejected. Whether you do this is purely up to you, but it's usually possible to remove the casing (carefully!) so that you can get to the tape-handling section. Then it's a matter of gentle probing & trial and error to get the machine to release its hold on the tape. Look for a series of mechanically linked parts which are driven by motor but activated by a microswitch tripped by action of inserting the tape. Just don't strain the linkages and if you remove anything make a note of where it came from.

How to eject stuck tape

might have to remove bottom of vcr and manually move the drive motor by the belt or the pully. if the bottom doesn't come off, you'll have to remove the top. usually screws on the side bottoms and one in the back. you can reach the motor from there.

A cassette has jammed inside my vcr machine. It will not move forward or backward Can yoy please help

Hello,

Since the tape won't come out then it means you will have to manually remove the stuck tape. This involves you disassembling the unit in order to help/assist the player get the stuck tape out.

Turn of the unit and remove from the wall, get a Philip screw driver, use it to remove all the screws from the unit and take it apart.

Open the cover and you will see the stuck tape and what's hooking or preventing it from coming out/ejecting.

Now plug the unit, and turn it on. Press the eject button, as the tape tries to come out, support it with your hand so that it can come out.

Or if it happen that the cassette tape has coiled inside the unit, carefully free the coiled tape and the press the eject button.

Lastly, the moment you disassemble the player, you would see what's preventing it from coming out, then you can free whatsoever that is making it stuck press the eject button and the tape should come out.

Make sure the unit is turned off each time you want to remove what's making the cassette stuck.

I hope understand the above explanations.

Good luck.

VCR tape won't eject

Hello,

The reason your tape wont eject is either because, it is stuck or the tape run loose inside of it.

To remove the tape, unplug the VCR, then unscrew it open, you will have direct access to the tape, so try to plug it back and press eject, when it gets stuck, apply a little force in pushing the tape up, to the height where it is to pass out, and it will eject your tape.

If you are not familiar with such activities, i will advice you get a repairman to get this done for you, in order for you not to damage any other part inside the VCR.

Take cacre and good luck

I have hp surestore DLT1e drive. Tape cartridge stuck!

For that you can try to press and hold the eject buttonfor 30 seconds if the tape doesn't came out then reflash the drive firmware revision.
After all that is the issue persists you can try to:
manually remove the tape by removing the top cover
Locate recessed thumb wheel
Rotate thumb wheel counter-clockwise until you feel resistance. Wheel may spring back when you release it. This is OK.
Locate hole in bottom of drive. Insert #10 Torx driver and rotate clockwise until tape ejects. If there is a lot of tape on the take up reel, this could take some time.
Rotate thumb wheel clockwise to eject the tape.

Ultrium tape stuck

I highly recommend that you contact Certance for assistance. Tape drives are expensive and you don't want to risk damaging it.

If you are feeling brave you could see if you can manually eject the tape.
Remove the tape drive from the chassis and look for a manual rewind screw on the bottom or back of the drive. This is provided on some drives to allow you to manually wind the tape back into the cartrige and eject it.

I hope this helps.

JVC HR -J655EK Video Stuck

Hi hannah. The simplest way to remove stuck tapes is to remove the top cover. Usually just a couple of screws. Then remove the stuck tape and put the cover back into place. You can also look for emergency eject hole and insert a snall pin into the hole and attempt to eject the disc while repeatedly twisting the pin inside the hole.

Good luck!
