Won't turn on? Check Batteries or at least try taking them out for a full minute and replacing!
And, please give me a rate before you leave?

Hi there i have a classic 30 gig ipod and think it has picked up a viras of some sort it wont turn on it s coming up with apple logo and turning off again and repeat s this till it runs outt of battery any...

Apple products do not pick up virus of any sort. The problem with your iPod most probably is due to a broken hard disk. If you reset the iPod, hold it close to your ear and take note of a clicking sound. An iPod that's working properly should have no clicking sounds or anything when you reset it. If you can hear one, you have to have the hard disk replaced. Also, before having it replaced, check if you can place it on disk mode and then perform a full restore. Most problems can be solved by resetting the factory settings.

I have an apple ipod 8 gig nano that wont turn back on

Try holding down the menu and center button at the same time for about 5 sec until the Apple logo appears on the screen (use two fingers). This may reset the iPod. If not try plugging into the computer and see if it is recognized. This model is a bit more fragile - and more difficult to repair.

Ipod

If your iPod nano won’t turn on or respond
1) Make sure the Hold switch is off.

2) If that doesn’t work, connect iPod nano to your computer’s USB or FireWire port. Your
iPod nano battery might need to be recharged.

3) If that doesn’t work, your iPod nano might need to be reset.

a) Toggle the Hold switch on and off (set it to Hold, and then turn it off again).
b)Press and hold the Center and Menu buttons for at least 6 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

4) If that doesn’t work, you might need to restore iPod nano software.

IPOD Shuffle doesn't work at all

If the status light blinks orange when you press a button, the iPod shuffle buttons are
disabled. Press and hold Play/Pause (’) for about three seconds, until the status light
blinks green.
