If you want to buy its original remote control, contact the the authorized service center or dealer to JVC. If you want to buy a universal remote control, you have to find out, which model universal remote have setup codes to JVC brand TVs.

Hi, my name is Erika I have an old model of a JVC DVD player. XV-M50BK and lost the remote. can i have a replacement one or can i buy a new one?

Hello Erika:
It would probably be cheaper to buy a universal remote for your DVD player than find your exact replacement model of remote. Although Ebay can be a real friend sometimes when looking for replacements. Any of the Big Box stores should carry the universal remote controls.
Here is a link for One-for-all universal remotes: "CLICK HERE"
If this helped just click the thumbs up button.

Hi im putting in a JVC cd/radio in a 1997 ford escort TD,Ive removed factory fitted Ford radio cassette, leaving 5 wires connected to a yellow plug,I have 3 wires coming out of JVC marked yellow memory back...

hi...well i know this might not be of any help, but you can buy a connector that plugs straight into the ford plug, and then you plug the jvc plug/s into that, not cutting wires no messing up the original connector just incase you want to sell the car with original system in it... http://productfinder.autoleads.co.uk/productinfo.aspx?&m=FORD&f=ESCORT&id=463&pID=6889
thats the link for it...if you tell me what colours are on the ford plug i could tell you what goes where...thanks

How do you replace the radio and insert a cd player?

Hi, pull the trim plate off the dash around the radio. The trim may go all around the instrument panel. With the trim plate off, you can see the factory radio screws. Take the screws out, pull the radio out and remove the connectors, including the antenna wire.
You will need an adapter to fit the aftermarket radio snugly into the dash. They sell these wherever they sell aftermarket radios. I recommend you also buy the cable adapter. If you don't, at least buy the antenna adapter of you will no be able to plug your antenna into the new CD player.
Follow the instructions on putting the adapter together--it's made for a lot of different cars. You need it to screw into your dash where the screws came out.
If you buy the wire adapter, follow the directions that come with it. I recommend you solder the wires, but you can use those crimp connectors if you don't have soldering equipment.
If you don't buy the adapter cable, use the factory wire colors below to match up the aftermarket wires to your factory wires. Wrap any solder connections with electrical tape and carefully plug everything back in, including the antenna adapter and antenna cable. With the adapter plate attached to the new player, carefully push the wiring aside to get the player into the slot and then screw it in. check the system for proper operation and then replace the trim panel.
Enjoy your CDs, and let me know if you have any questions.

I lost the remote control of my JVC plasma tv model GMP420E. can any other model or brand of remote support it ?

No.Not a good idea etheir to buy a universal remote control's.Most of the times like 80 to 90% of the times universal remotes dose not have all the functions like the original remote.Try website like Remotes.com to buy an original remote or very close to the original remote.

How to install in 1975 gmc truck

You may need to cut the steel in the dash where the old two post radio was. First thing to do, is buy a universal mounting kit from Radio Shack, so you know the dimensions to cut on the dash for a tight fit. Also, they sell a wiring harness that will wire up to your modern stereo, and plug into your existing stereo plug.

Wiring difference

If your installing a stock radio/cd player from another Dodge the wiring plug is the same and will fit.If your installing a aftermarket radio/cd player(JVC,Pioneer, etc)you will need to buy a adapter plug that wires up to the radio and is a direct fit to your factory wire harness,so your not cutting your wires. When you buy the adapter plug it comes with a wire diagram of which wire is what.Your aftermarket radio should have a diagram also, either on it or in the manual.Hope this helps you.

The digital clock on my 30"JVC is showing in the bottom of screen

The menu screen does not function the display. Without the original remote or a universal remote that does not have a display button, try unplugging the television for at least 2 minutes or more and plug the tv back in. This should reset the tv display. If the universal remote has a display button, depress the display button until you get the desired display results. Reference the user guide below for the display button.
